Mr. Chaturvedi's progressive thinking made him conscious of the need to offer solutions for Flexible Packaging and this led to the inception of a company for manufacturing packaging materials.

Exhibiting inspiring innovativeness and entrepreneurial skills, Mr. Chaturvedi applied the latest international technologies for tailoring and designing packing material which adapted to the needs of the customers, winning markets globally.

Appreciating the customer's needs for quality, prompt delivery and service, he decided to integrate backwards in the manufacture of Polyester Film, BOPP and Co-extruded Films, Gravure Printing Cylinders, Inks, Adhesives, Pet Chips, etc. This ensured the excellent quality of raw materials and timely delivery to the customer.

Mr. Ashok Chaturvedi is one of a distinguished creed of first generation entrepreneurs, who has, through vision and dedication carved a niche for himself in the domestic industrial environment and also sculpted a global reputation for himself and The Uflex Group.

This far-sightedness has placed Uflex as a major company in the global markets. Its export destinations have expanded to more than 40 countries establishing a reputation synonymous with reliability and excellent quality.

Mr. Chaturvedi's achievements are by no means restricted to the industrial arena. The Uflex Medical Centre, stands testimony to his concern for society. Utech Developers Limited - Utech Developers Limited, a 100% subsidiary of UFLEX Limited, was incorporated on 18th December 2006 with the Registrar of Companies, NCT of Delhi & Haryana and became entitled to commence business on 8th January 2007. The Registered Office of U Tech Developers Limited is situated at 110, First Floor, Bhanot Corner, Pamposh Enclave, Greater Kailash – I, New Delhi – 110048, India.

The Company is engaged in the business of infrastructure and real estate development activities including promoting, developing, planning, commissioning, constructing and selling ultra modern commercial, industrial, residential complexes including high rise buildings, mall, multiplexes, township projects, educational & hospitality projects catering effectively to the fast moving demand of the dynamic environment (In and Outside India).


AKC Developers Limited - AKC Developers Ltd. is a Company registered under the Companies Act, 1956 having Corporate Office at A-108, Sector - 4 Noida-201301, and the same was incorporated in 2006.

AKC Developers Ltd. (ACKDL) which is a subsidiary of UFLEX Ltd., Noida, latter being the leader in packaging, having presence globally with over Rs. 2200 crores turnover, is going to set up projects of Solid Waste Management in Public Private Partnership, with municipalities of various cities. Solid Waste Management is an environment related project, which helps in minimizing Air and Water pollution resulting into clean natural resources and helping the global slogan “Reduce Global Warming and Minimize Pollution”.

AKCDL has already been awarded three such projects by National Building Construction Corporation for Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Faridabad (Haryana) and by U.P. Jal Nigam at Agra (U.P.) for processing city municipal solid waste.

The proposed project comprises processing of total 1100 TPD of MSW at three sites i.e. Gwalior (300 TPD), Faridabad (500 TPD) and Bareilly (300 TPD). The said project shall involve a total capital outlay of Rs. 106.31 crore (Gwalior- Rs. 29.24 crores, Faridabad- Rs. 48.22 crores & Bareilly- Rs. 28.85 crores).


Flex America Inc. - Uflex has been catering to the North and South American markets since the inception of their operations of plastic films in 1995. We are supplying to the industrial and packaging sector there. In view of our expanding business and also to provide better service to the customers, Uflex has incorporated a marketing and distribution subsidiary, Uflex America Inc. located in North Carolina, USA. Our customers there have appreciated our commitment to the market and their business.


Uflex Packaging Inc. - Uflex Packaging Inc. incorporated on 5th June, 2007 in the state of New Jersey, USA has beeb promoted as 100% subsidiary company by Uflex Ltd., India.

Uflex Packaging Inc. has been promoted with an objective to undertake the trading business relating to marketing and sale of high class Plastic films, high-tech packaging Equipments and Materials etc. primarily to cater the US market. The company shall procure the items mainly from India and shall supply the same to the users in the US market.

Uflex Packaging Inc is a private company categorized under Packaging Materials and located in Fort Lee, NJ. Current estimates show this company has an annual revenue of $ 500,000 to $ 1 million and employs a staff of approximately 5 to 9.


Flex Middle East FZE - FLEX MIDDLE EAST FZE, a 100% subsidiary of Uflex Group formed under the laws of Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority, Dubai (UAE) and situated at “Round About 12”, Jebel Ali free Zone, Dubai (UAE). The company is engaged in the business of manufacture & sale of plastic packaging films across globe.

Its first overseas manufacturing facility, was born in 2004. The first phase was commissioned in March 2005 with the manufacturing of 20000 tons per annum of high-quality Polyester films and metallized polyester films in Jebel Ali Free Zone, UAE. This is the only company manufacturing high quality Polyester films in whole of Gulf Region.

The second phase has been commissioned in September 2007 with a state-of-the-art 8.7 meter wide Polyester film line, which is the largest line in the world. With this, the total capacity has gone up to 54000 tons per annum, in addition to 60,000 tons of Polyester film being manufactured in India on 3 state-of-the-art lines. Further expansions are on the anvil in UAE.


Flex P. Films (Egypt) S.A.E. - Flex P Films (Egypt) SAE, Egypt (FME-Egypt) has been floated as 100% subsidiary of Flex Middle East FZE, Dubai under the laws of Egypt with an objective to set up the green field project in Egypt for manufacture & sale of high class plastic packaging films across globe.

The proposed project shall involve setting up of one Bi-axially Oriented Polyester (BOPET) film line, one Bi-axially Oriented Poly Propylene (BOPP) film line and one Caste Poly Propylene film (CPP) film line along with Metalization facilities, aggregating to a total capacity to produce 77000 TPA bare / metalized films. BOPET and BOPP / CPP films are the downstream of PET resins and polypropylene granules respectively by way of extrusion and orientation process, which has wide range of applications – the highest usage in flexible packaging materials.


Flex Americas S.A. de C.V. - Flex Americas S.A. de C.V is a 100% subsidiary of UFLEX Limited, the flagship company of Uflex Group, the India-based Flexible Packaging Conglomerate, which began its existence nearly two decades ago and has come a long way since then offering a vast array of innovative products and services that enrich life, improve performance and create value for the customers and shareholders.

Uflex Group has invested over 100 million dollars in a world class flexible packaging facility in Altamira in the State of Tamaulipas in Mexico to cater to the customers located in South, Central and North Americas, for establishing state-of-the-art 8.7 meter wide Polyester film line with a capacity of 35000 Tons/annum, and one Metallizer in the first phase.

The company has also concluded the financial closure for HERMES backed term debts with KfW- IPEX Bank GmbH for EURO 39 million, which would meet the funding needs for the 1st phase as well as partly for the 2nd phase.

The company has also been sanctioned term loan of USD 20 million that would be used for 2nd phase implementation and working capital loan of USD 23.20 million which shall take care the working capital needs of both phases.


QCELL Limited - “QCell Ltd” 40% owned JV Company of UTech Developers Ltd. which is wholly owned subsidiary of Uflex Ltd. is setting up a 3G GSM Telecom Mobile Network with capacity of 100,000 subscribers in Gambia. This Joint Venture has been set up with Mr. Muhammed Jah who is the local Gambian entrepreneur. He had been running an existing Internet Service Providing (ISP) company in The Gambia known as “Quantum Net”. The exiting ISP Business of “Quantum Net” has been merged into Joint Venture Company QCell Ltd. w.e.f. from 01/01/2009.


Flex Foods Limited - A 100% Export oriented State-of-the-art freeze dried mushroom manufacturing plant is set in the sylvan resort town of Dehradun in the foothills of the Himalayas.
